Hi Friends
Here is a little bit of info about myself to get you started.
Strange as it might seem, my name is Allan. I live in a village called Baxenden, which is near to a place called Accrington in Lancashire, England. I have lived here for 16 years now and hope to stay here. That will depend on what the future brings I suppose.
To describe myself, I am 5.7 in. tall, have dark brown hair and eyes, all my own teeth, lol. If you would like to see a picture of me click here.
I am quite mature ( like it so far ,lol.) and I am divorced, have been for a few years now. I work as a firefighter in GMC Fire Service but will have to retire in the middle of this year (1999), now that should give you a clue. I have two grown up kids of my own and three grown up step-daughters, I also have two grand-daughters, all of who I will talk about on my Family page.
I have a dog and a cat, the dog is a Samoyed and my cat is an adopted moggy, I say adopted 'cos the cat belonged to a neighbour who moved away and took her cat with her, next morning it appeared on my doorstep, this happened three times and anyone who knows about cats, knows that you have to live with cats, they dont have to live with you, lol. so here she is. My dog is called Kara and is quite old now for a 'Sammy', she is 12 and thats the average age for them, however my last Samoyed, Judy, lived to be 17 so what do they know :))). The cat is called Jess, she only has one eye, she lost the other one as a kitten, (she was a street cat and got beaten up) when I met her 4 years ago, she was quite wild and it took about 18 months for me to get near her, she is much better now but is still very wary of other people. By the way, all my animals are female and all have been done, Severely,lol.
For those of you who read my other first home page, Ellie, my other cat was killed by a car in February.
